Auto mechanics has always drawn me like a moth to a flame. It is something that makes sense to me, something I have always been good at. In Junior High (because of my big mouth) I was challenged to completely disassemble a lawnmower engine, reassemble it, and have it start by the second pull… using only a pair of vise-grips and a screw driver, things I always cared with me. For me life resembles an engine, and life should work like an engine. If something is out of adjustment then there will be smoke or a noise calling for attention. Often God speaks to me most clearly while I am working building or repairing something.
Through the many years of ministering in the U.S., Canada and now in México, I have seen God use this mechanical gift to open doors, bless people, and to teach me about truth. I believe that we all see life through our gifts and abilities God has given us. So I confess that I am not the Truth but, thanks to Jesus Christ, I do have a perspective of It.
